PUBLIC SERVICES
Bethel School District covers 202 square miles.
There are zero hospitals, YMCA's, Boys and Girls clubs, colleges or universities, and DSHS services offices.
There is one pool, sheriff's office.
There are two libraries.
There is only three miles of public bus transportation.
About 9% of District 3 has sidewalks.
Compare that with the numbers of neighboring Puyallup and Tacoma.
These are not Democrat or Republican issues - these are people issues that must be addressed.
District 3 has been ignored for too long.
As our area grows, we must improve our public services. This means:
Fixing and building better roads
Adding more streetlights and sidewalks
Creating more parks, hospitals, and community centers
These improvements will:
Make it easier to get around
Make our neighborhoods safer and more enjoyable
Help our local government work better
As your County Council member, I'll work hard to get the money we need for these projects. I'll make sure we take care of what we have and plan for future growth.
Together, we'll build a stronger District 3 and a better Pierce County for all of us.
