Find the real reasons why crime happens, like poverty and lack of opportunities
Build trust between police and the community
Make sure everyone is treated fairly, but held accountable
Work to stop gun violence
Help people struggling with drugs or mental health problems
Together, we can make Pierce County a safer place for everyone.
EDUCATION
Giving Our Kids a Better Future
Good education is key to a bright future. Here's my plan:
Continue to partner with schools, colleges, and training centers
Support programs that teach skills for in-demand jobs
Promote science, tech, engineering, and math (STEM) classes
Create more apprenticeship programs
Help students find local good jobs
By investing in our kids' education, we're investing in the future of our whole county.
